An oral surgeon can put one or more implants in at one time, depending on the best recommendation for you. The healing process takes several months, giving time for osseointegration to occur where your jaw bone fuses with the implant.
Once you fully heal, Dr. Vero’s office can create your restored tooth or teeth.
The team uses digital radiography to produce images of your mouth or takes impressions and sends them to a laboratory where they manufacture the design of your tooth replacement. They also attach a metal abutment to your implant.
The final step brings your previously damaged tooth to full restoration, placing your prosthetic over your abutment and bonding them together with a special glue. You leave the office with a full smile that looks natural.
